The Middle Tennessee Workforce Investment Board provides leadership through:

§           The Middle Tennessee Career Center system

§            Youth education

§           High tech training

§           Economic development

A regional workforce summit will be held in May to offer Middle Tennessee leaders a look into the future.

An Annual Report can be seen through your Adobe Reader. 

As industries experience shortages, the board has reacted by developing resources for job seekers to access information on career descriptions, training and education, employers contact information and labor market for the industry.  Two such resources are: Health Care Career Map and Teaching as a Career.

MEMBERSHIP
The MTWIB is comprised of 53 volunteer members that represent a broad section of business leaders, chambers of commerce, education and service agencies.
