Market Report
This monthly newsletter contains a lead article on
economic issues of importance to our readers. Current
employment and unemployment statistics for the state and
Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) are analyzed. The
newsletter includes tables and graphs of labor force
information for the state, MSAs, and Micropolitan Areas.
Data tables are also provided with estimated
nonagricultural employment by industry, hours and
earnings of manufacturing production workers, and the
consumer price index.

Business Employment Dynamics data are quarterly series
of gross job gains and gross job losses statistics for
the entire economy. These data track changes in
employment at the establishment level, and thus provide
a picture of the dynamics underlying aggregate net
employment growth statistics.
