Contracted Agencies
All program services for our area
(Davidson, Rutherford, Trousdale and
Wilson counties) have been contracted
out to three different providers:
· Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency Provides services for Davidson, Rutherford, and Trousdale Counties.
· Wilson County Schools Provides services for Wilson County.
· Pencil Foundation
Provides in-school services for Davidson County.
· Monroe-Harding Provides services for Davidson County.
Services
Program providers will be offering the
following services. Every young person
will not receive every service. Based on
an individualized assessment, it will be
determined which services are applicable
for each individual.
1. Tutoring, study skills and
activities leading to drop-out
prevention,
2. Alternative secondary school
offerings,
3. Summer employment linked
directly to academic and occupational
learning,
4. Paid and unpaid work
experiences,
5. Occupational skills training,
6. Leadership development
opportunities,
7. Supportive services,
8. Adult mentoring,
9. Follow-up services, and
10. Comprehensive guidance and
counseling as appropriate. |
