Paul Haynes, executive director of the Nashville Career Advancement Center, has an extensive career spanning nineteen years in the administration and operation of federal grant programs.  Recently promoted from Director of Grants, Haynes was appointed to this position by Mayor Purcell in February 2007.

Prior to his current position, Haynes served as administrator for the Employment and Workforce Development Division of the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development. Haynes spent the previous nine years as the director of operations and business development for the Nashville Career Advancement Center.

In 1988, prior to joining Nashville Career Advancement Center, he held the positions of grants analyst, grants manager, and as director of employment and training for the Tennessee Department of Labor.
