Career Development

NCAC serves individuals with career coaching and talent development in order to provide a skilled workforce for businesses. Currently, NCAC and the Career Centers offer various assessments, workshops and services to equip job seekers with the necessary skills to achieve self-sufficient employment.

Assessments
We can help job seekers explore themselves in order to determine industry preferences or types of jobs to pursue. NCAC has 3 types of assessments: skills (WorkKeys), personality (Myers Briggs) and interest (Strong Interest Inventory).

Workshops
NCAC helps Job Seekers develop a plan of action. Workshop information may vary for each location from resume writing and interviewing to salary negotiation and networking .

Networking Meetings
Career Connections provides insight and knowledge about the world of work from career and job search experts in the community.

Career Coaching
Feedback from our Coaches on resumes and mock interviews provide the necessary guidance to help each customer improve his or her marketing plan.

Skills Upgrade

Talent Development helps a person changing careers to increase his or her skills through the Workforce Investment Act training funds. Training is for customers who lack the necessary skills to achieve self-sufficient employment or to customers who are looking to get one step further in their careers.
