Job Seekers

The Nashville Career Advancement Center works with individuals to explore career options, decide on a direction, target a career or industry, then strategize and market oneself for the job search.  NCAC’s Workforce Campus is a proud partner in six Tennessee Career Centers located in Davidson, Rutherford, Wilson and Trousdale Counties. The Tennessee Career Centers are a network of Career centers across the state where job seekers can get assistance and career information.

The following is a list of the services NCAC and the Career Centers provide.  Please click below to get more information.

RESOURCE CENTERSExternal Link

Our resource centers offer computers with Internet access, copy and fax machines, telephones and career resource materials. Labor market information is available on local, state, national and international levels.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

A one-on-one meeting with a Career Coach at the Workforce Campus and the Tennessee Career Centers helps customers determine the goals and steps needed to reach employment. During these meetings, Career Coaches use questionnaires and interview techniques to identify a customer's work history, skill level, educational level and any other barriers that need to be addressed.

WORKSHOPS

NCAC and the Career Centers provide workshops for Job Seekers to give them the ability to develop a plan of action.  Workshops include a variety of topics on job searching techniques, negotiating skills, resume writing and interviewing schools.
